ACES International Summer School started preparation in 2016 and was officially established in 2017. In June 2017, Dalian University of Technology, a famous 985 University of the United Nations, cooperated with the Central Christian College of Kansas, a famous American College of Arts and Sciences, successfully held the first project at Dalian University of Technology, which enrolled nearly 300 students from the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. ACES is the first and exclusive provider of U.S. university transcripts for credit transfer. In the same year, ACES was strictly reviewed and approved by the Degree Office of the Ministry of Education. Students can get certified transcript through the China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center (CDGDC).
Since 2017, ACES has been preparing for ACES Winter School, which was successfully held at Dalian University of Technology in winter vacation in 2018. Students come from the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia and more than 20 countries and regions.
In the first half of 2018, ACES initiated an internship program to meet the needs of students' career development in Beijing and Shanghai. Through cooperation with many Fortune 500 companies, ACES has provided more than 300 positions for more than 100 students from all over the world. Companies that recruit students include Bain, McKinsey, CICC, Siemens, Citibank, General Electric, E & Y, Deloitte, Volvo, Westin Hotel, Tencent, Baidu, Ali and other famous enterprises. Many students have obtained full-time job in the company after internship.
Since 2018, more and more universities in the United States have refused to accept transcripts from Chinese Universities, including those certified by CDGDC, as their requirements for summer school programs become more stringent. With a strong marketing team and operations and management, ACES has signed strategic cooperation agreements with more than 150 universities in the United States, including Cornell University, to provide online courses all year, so as to ensure that students can take classes anytime, anywhere and transfer credits back to their universities.
In 2019, ACES's enrollment has ushered in new breakthroughs both in number and geographical scope. ACES's annual online courses have been fully popularized. More than 600 students have signed up for our courses, and the total number of students has exceeded 1000. In addition to Chinese students, international students from more than 40 countries and regions are also attracted by SCP summer program. ACES acts as a bridge between Chinese and foreign cultures.
In 2019, ACES North America Summer School was officially introduced to Beijing and Shanghai campuses to achieve synchronous enrollment in Beijing and Shanghai! In order to better assist students in answering questions, ACES has set up enrollment teams in more than 50 universities in North America.
In 2019, a large number of other GE courses were added to the curriculum, covering almost all the courses required by American universities in the first two years. At the same time, in addition to previous undergraduate regular courses, the ACES summer program began to introduce undergraduate associate degree programs. Students can directly complete all the courses required by the University in the first two years in ACES and get the associate degree degree. In addition, in the online payment, Alipay scan code payment is added, students do not need to go to bank transfer, and directly realize the integration of course selection and payment.
